How to choose
Sustainable corporate gifting works when the sustainability story is verifiable and the gift is genuinely useful. Seed paper cards and 'one-use symbolic eco gifts' fail both tests — they end up in drawers, not gardens, and recipients know it. Invest in items that durably replace single-use alternatives.

Certification is the credibility floor. GOTS for organic cotton, FSC for timber and paper, GRS/RCS for recycled synthetics, OEKO-TEX for textile chemical safety, ASTM D6400 for compost-certification. When a supplier can't name a specific certification body, treat the 'eco' claim as marketing copy and ask for the certificate number.
Packaging should match the product's sustainability message. Kraft or recycled-content gift boxes, compostable tissue, paper tape (not plastic), no plastic window inserts. A sustainable gift in plastic wrap undermines the story.
