Custom Pencils

Minimums start at 50 units on a handful of lines, and the typical line runs from 250. The lowest-priced black wood pencils are quoted at 2000 units, which is where the per-unit price falls furthest. The minimum sits on every product page, and prices step down as quantity rises.

Black wood pencils start from $0.47 ex-GST at 2000 units. A German-made STAEDTLER HB pencil runs about $1.15 and a carpenter's pencil about $1.25 at smaller quantities, while cased coloured pencil sets sit toward the upper end of the $0.47 to $24 AUD per unit range. A one-off setup charge per artwork is quoted up front.

Pad print is the standard for one- and two-colour logos on a round barrel, and screen print suits longer runs. Natural wood barrels take laser engraving, which burns the mark into the timber so it never rubs off. Cases, boxes and tubes take a full-colour digital print for artwork with gradients or photographs.

Yes. Coloured pencil sets come in a pine case, a kraft box or a tube with a sharpener lid, in sets of six or twelve, including STAEDTLER colouring pencils. The logo goes on the pack, and on the barrels where the line allows. They pair with custom colouring books for open days and family events.

Standard production runs ten to fifteen business days after proof approval. Tell us your deadline when you enquire, and we will confirm what is achievable for the line and the print method before you commit to the order.

Every order. You receive a digital proof showing the logo at actual size on the barrel or the case, with print position and colour calls, and nothing is printed until you approve it. A round barrel is narrow, so this is where a long wordmark gets simplified to stay legible.
